valentine's

its the time of the year once again.. where roses would be extremely expensive, chocolates sold more expensive, love movies shown in nearly every channel on tv, restourants serves more 'romantic' like food.. and people like us, blog about it.. hahahaha.. well, there's also the famous question.. 'what are you doing this valentine's day ar..?' or 'got people ask you for valentine or not..?' (blurpoint 1#: asked during chinese new year not enough ar..?!)

well, something really interesting happend at work. as i was coming in suddenly i saw.. colourful balloons hanging from the ceiling.. NO, ITS NOT FOR ME! it was from the couple that is in our office. there were balloons, soft toy and a song.. typical valentine's scenario.. NO, I'M NOT WISHING IT WAS ME! i'm just amused to see it happening in office.. a place where sound of keyboard tapping is louder and coffee aroma fills the room. well, no doubt.. everyone that comes to office today were stunned to see the decos.. typical reaction.. 'wah!' :D

anywayz, was checking my mails today and my uncle sent me an email 'an early valentine wish'. a simple and short mail with a familar verse from the bible..
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." john 3:16
hmm.. the Creator of the world and days and time itself had already created valentine's day.. not st.valentino.. or something like that. also, i reckon, that God didnt give us His son on the 14 feb! hehe..
well.. probably its just me but.. think about it. how many people would really give up a life fo you. he did it for you..

so, here's me wishing all.. happy valentine's to everyone.. the love birds and the singles.. hahaha. hey.. who said valentine's day was only for the couples..?

and as for me.. i've got my itchy throat and bloked nose to take care of... *sigh*

work birthday

today marks the 2nd year of my working life. so, its.. happy 2nd work year.. hahaha.. what have achieved as working for 2 years in the same company.. erm...

1. moved from a programmer to a consultant
yea! no more coding for me.. altho i'm still doing some simple html coding for prototype purposes. but i do miss the thrill of coding.. oh well..

2. holidays are precious
you need to apply for leaves! its not like in school or in college where you're given a few week of break.. and taking long leaves means no money.. hahaha.. that is also why, working people should enjoy (to the maximum) on weekends.. hahaha

3. coffee-xified
well.. probably just me but since i started working, i've been drinking more coffee than ever.. not to the extend where i drink 3 cups a day but i always drink at least 1 cup a day.. for a substitution, would be teh tarik... or i'll be a lil bit stoned in the morning.

well, anywayz, working is fun.. if you want it to be.. so, my advice.. enjoy work! ;o)

everyday

everyday, as minutes passes by
every month, as days passes by
every year, as months passes by
we take every step with uncertain certainty

every smile, as joy comes along
every tear, as sadness jumps along
every sleepless night, as worrisome drags along
we pray every morning for His peace to be our belong

everything in the past, we appreciate
everything in the present, we participate
everything in the future, we anticipate
as we see our Father plans our very life's date

'And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered' Matthew 10:30
